Spring in Oklahoma
All it takes for me to appreciate our wonderful Oklahoma is a trip to California.  I helped my daughter in law join my son, who is stationed in Sand Diego a couple of weeks ago.  The weather there was beautiful also, not too cold, not too hot,  but how would I know? I was stuck in traffic most of the time.   I know that we gripe here in our cities during rush hour, but there is not experience like spend 4 hours in bumper to bumper traffic!

Anyhow, I am glad to be home.  The red bud trees are blooming and the trees are greening up. The wildflowers are starting to bud.

I am currently working on my garden.  For those interested in gardening in Oklahoma, there is a terrific mail list I belong to called   Gardening Oklahoma , click on the link to subscribe.  There are veteran gardeners with lots of information to share with newbies.

It is also time to  participate in outdoor activities.  Be sure to check the Surf OK page for recreation.  There are various mail lists for outdoor activities.
